Feedback is a gift!

“We all need people who will give us feedback. That’s how we improve” – Bill Gates.

My advice to my 18-year-old if I was to have a coffee with him this morning would be to understand the importance of feedback.

Feedback is a gift of time and energy. It is gift of successful people departing the wisdom that they have gained by helping others gain that valuable experience as well.

Receiving feedback from those people you really trust and look up to is one of the best ways to help you become better and more efficient at what you do. This way you can repeat the positive and change the negative.

When done regularly and positively, feedback can do wonders for your development and productivity. That is when it becomes a gift that keeps on giving.

What advice would you share with your younger self?
