Invest in Yourself.
“Investing in yourself is the best investment you will ever make” – Robin S Sharma.
That would be my advice to my 18-year-old if we were to have a coffee together this morning.
Sometimes we can put other people’s needs before our own, but it is also important to put yourself first. Invest what is important to you, such as your relationships, fitness, health, education etc.
Only you can control where you are heading in life. Get a clear fix of where you want to go and set those goals to get things done to build that self-confidence and energy. Surrender yourself to your desires.
The successful people in life don’t wait for opportunites to come to them, they go out and and get it. Invest in your goals. Invest in your ideas. Don’t allow other people hold you back.
What advice would you offer to your 18-year-old self?
I will be hosting a Live Podcast to celebrate What I Know Now’s 1 year anniversary at the Hamilton Bulding, Trinity College on Thursday 28 September. Find out more info and sign up to attend for FREE at this link. Hope to see you there.
