Drink two litres of water a day.

If I was to meet up with my 18-year-old self today, the one piece I would offer him would be to highlight the importance of hydration.

There are so many benefits for drinking up to two litres of water a day, including helping you lose weight, think better, prevent disease and lots more.

When involved in physical activity, your body uses up so much water so it is important stay hydrated before, during and after exercise to help improve your performance and reduce fatigue.

Studies have also shown that people who drink around two litres a day are in a much better mood than people who don’t. Staying hydrated is so important to keep your brain, heart and muscles functioning.

What advice would you share with your 18-year-old self?
