Words Shape Our Destinies

If I was to have a coffee with my 18-year-old self this morning, the one piece of advice I would offer is that the words you use can determine your destiny.

The words you use pretty much determine how you feel. Successful people would never say  “I’m not good enough” or “I’m not important, ” they think big and speak positively.

Never say anything is impossible, that is a failure word. Use words that promise victory, hope, happiness and pleasure. The more positive things you say about yourself, the more and more better you feel about yourself.

People who believe they are important are more likely to succeed that those who put themselves down and say “I cannot do it.” You are what you think you are, so choose your words wisely.

What advice would you share with your 18-year-old self? Do you think you would take it on offer?
