“Keep the faith and enjoy the journey”

If professional sailor turned motivational sales speaker Paul Adamson could offer one piece of advice to his 18-year-old, he would tell him to keep the faith and enjoy the journey.

A lot of people can get preoccupied with working towards their goals and putting in the hard work and dedication, but it is also important to enjoy the journey to where you want to go.

Paul believes that it is not all about the goal and thinking about getting to wherever it is we go, but it is about the journey you go on and the growth you make as a person that is what makes it in enjoyable.

Don’t worry about things too much if things are not going to plan or there are challenges getting in your way. You just have to keep on going and keep the faith that this is the right choice for you.

Remember it is important to have goals in life and a destination of where you want to go, but remember to enjoy the ride because life is all about the journey.

What advice would you offer to your 18-year-old self?
