“Slow Down”

Founder and CEO of Unplug, Chris Flack’s advice to his 18-year-old self this morning would be to slow down and understand the importance of quality downtime.

The huge improvements in techonology and the introduction of social media has massively changed cutlure and people’s behaviours for more than a decade now.

We are in a culture where everyone is so busy and cannot seem to put the mobile phone away, but Chris’s advice would be to tell people to slow down and give yourself some quality downtime.

Take a step back and dedicate some time just to yourself. This period of downtime and rest will help you gain better focus, increase productivity and improve your overall well-being.

What advice would you share with your 18-year-old self?

Chris is the Founder & CEO of UnPlug, which helps people take control of thier technology, rather than technology controlling them so they can have better attention management, increased productivity and higher quality downtime.

In the podcast, we chat about how mobile technology has changed culture and our behaviour, Chris’ morning routine to help him stay focused, advice on how to get good sleep and much more.
