“Celebrate Every Day Like It’s Your Birthday”

Business and performance coach Shane Cradock would offer his 18-year-old self three important pieces of advice if he could meet up him this morning.

The first piece of advice he offers is to undertsand the importance of how the mind works. Your mind controls your happiness. If you think positvely, you will feel positive and it will give you energy to succeed.

The second thing he would say is to find out that intersection between what the world needs, and what activates your passion and gives you a purpose to succeed.

Visualise where you want to go and start on the path to success. Whatever goals you have planned, relentlessly go after them. Put in the hard work and it will all pay off in the end.

The final piece of advice he would say to his 18-year-old self is to live every day like it is your last. You have complete control over how you live your life so go enjoy it.

What advice would you share with your 18-year-old self?
