Welcome to Ask Mark, where I answer your questions about personal development to help you become the best possible version of yourself.

For over a year of interviewing my guests on the What I Know Now podcast, I want to share with you what I have learned by answering any questions to may have about personal development, networking and building meaningful relationships. The aim of Ask Mark is to help you achieve your goals sooner and stand on the shoulders of giants.

Each episode features a question asked by someone just like you! If you would like to get involved and have your question feature on the show, give me a shout by leaving your question in the comments box or drop me a message on social media in the links below.

Now sit back, plug in those headphones because it is time to learn together about personal development, networking, building meaningful relationships and so much more.

In this episode, I answer a listener’s question on how you can get up in the morning on days that you might rather stay in bed all day and how the simplest of tasks can make you feel better about yourself.

Some ideas to help you get up, involve writing out a list of goals the night before. Make sure one of them is to help someone else. Commit to it and you won’t want to let them down.

Even just going outside for a few minutes, such as going for a walk to the shop can help you want to do more. Take a few minutes to do some exercise and it will likely turn into at least half an hour’s exercise.

Even when you don’t feel 100% get up and turn up. People will acknowledge even if you don’t necessarily feel up to it. You can get so much energy from other people.
