Welcome to episode 17 of Ask Mark, where I answer your questions about personal development to help you become the best version of yourself.

From interviewing people from all walks of life on the What I Know Now podcast, I want to share with you what I have learned from my guests by answering any questions you have about personal development, networking and building meaningful relationships. The aim of Ask Mark is to help you achieve your goals sooner and help you stand on the shoulders of giants.

I love hearing from my listeners. If you would like to get involved and have your question featured on the show, please leave your question in the comments box or drop me a message on social media in the links below.

Now sit back, plug in those headphones and enjoy because it is time to learn together about personal development, networking, building meaningful relationships and so much more.

Today’s question focuses on the fact that you have now decided to open your network and develop meaningful relationships, but what is the next step?

The first piece of advice is to put your hand up and volunteer for new projects between different departments where you work. This is a great way to meet new people within your company.

Look at what is going on in your local area and see if there is a committee you can join. Do some charity work and focus on helping other people is another option.

There are even more ideas I mention in the episode but make sure whatever it is you decide to do that you are passionate and excited about. This will make people want to hang around with you.
