Happy Monday! Welcome to episode 26 of Ask Mark, where I answer your questions about personal development to help you become the best version of yourself.
From interviewing people from all walks of life on the What I Know Now podcast, I want to share with you what I have learned from my guests by answering any questions you have about personal development, networking and building meaningful relationships. The aim of Ask Mark is to help you achieve your goals sooner and stand on the shoulders of giants.
I would love to hear your questions so please fill out the form or record your question at wikn.co/askmark. You can also drop me a message in the comments box or on social media in the links below.
Now sit back, plug in those headphones and enjoy because it is time to learn together about personal development, networking, building meaningful relationships and much more.
On today’s episode, I answer a question from a listener who has just started their first leadership role and I offer advice I have learned on how to become an effective leader.
You need to be aware of certain behaviours you need to be focused on and to be mindful of, such as competency, character and you will also need a high level of integrity.
One of the most important elements is that you need to understand your team’s motivations and aspirations. You need to be invested in the development of your team to achieve extraordinary results.
If you invest in your team, you will get a lot of loyalty and it will create discretionary effort among your team because they will feel they are working towards their goals.
