Welcome to episode 45 of Ask Mark, where I answer your questions about personal development to help you become the best version of yourself.

From interviewing people from all walks of life on the What I Know Now podcast, I want to share with you what I have learned from my guests by answering any questions you have about personal development, networking and building meaningful relationships. The aim of Ask Mark is to help you achieve your goals sooner and stand on the shoulders of giants.

I would love to hear your questions so please fill out the form or record your question at wikn.co/askmark. You can also drop me a message in the comments box or on social media in the links below.

Now sit back, plug in those headphones and enjoy because it is time to learn together about personal development, networking, building meaningful relationships and much more.

In today’s episode, I offer three steps you should take when turning your ideas into practice and make you realise that your ideas are just as good as your colleague’s.

Not every idea you come up with will get off the ground but if you do your homework and build strong cases to allow those around you to support your ideas, you are definitely on the right track.

To believe in your idea, the first thing you need to do is to really understand it. A good way to test this is to tell a friend about it but if they are staring back at you like a deer in headlights, there is still some work to do.

The second tip I offer to you is to gain support even before the idea is pitched. This way people will have a general idea of what your product or service is about and it allows you to receive feedback to tweak and improve your idea.

Finally, when you are pitching your idea, have the next stages planned out and make people care why they should invest in your idea. You always have to ask yourself “What problem am I looking to solve?”
