Now sit back, plug in those headphones and enjoy because it is time to learn together about personal development, networking, building meaningful relationships and much more.
Today’s question comes in from a listener who wants to be able to speak up more and I offer advice that I have learned to help you feel like you have something valuable to say.
People don’t voice their opinion because they are concerned what they say won’t be good enough and they don’t want to look stupid. However, voicing your opinions is an important part to help you become the best version of yourself.
When you decide to speak up more, there are three things you should take on board. The first point is to listen. If you don’t fully understand the situation, ask questions to show you’re really interested in what they have to say.
The second tip is to be selective. You don’t need to have an opinion on everything. There is a right time and place to add value. Finally, be diplomatic. Not everyone will agree with you, so don’t try to force your opinions on others.
