Welcome to episode 49 of What I Know Now, the Personal Development and Leadership podcast.

This week’s guest is ‘Mr Network’ Andy Lopata. Andy is one of Europe’s Leading business networking strategists that works with companies on how to use networking tools to develop their businesses.

He helps people understand that Networking is not just about sales. Whether for lead generation, breaking down silos internally, recruitment and retention of top staff or developing future leaders, networks and collaboration have a key role to play. He works with clients to help recognise that role and put the strategy and skills in place to leverage it.

Andy was called ‘one of Europe’s leading business networking strategists’ by The Financial Times and ‘a true master of networking’ by The Independent. He has also co-authored two books on networking and a third book “Recommended: How to Sell Through Networking and Referrals” was published in August 2011. He is also planning a fourth book, which is due to be published in Autumn 2019.

Andy is a Fellow of the Professional Speaking Association (PSA) and of the Learning and Performance Institute and a Master of the Institute for Sales Management. He is also one of just 23 recipients of the PSA’s top honour, the ‘Award of Excellence’.
