On today’s episode of Mark’s Daily Discoveries, I share with you how being kind can have a positive impact on your life and to other people around you.

Some people can see being kind as a weakness and fear that they are being taken advantage of, but those who see it as something they want to do every day live a happy life.

I spoke in a previous episode how doing a kind deed releases the oxytocin in your brain to make you feel better, so there is a science around it. Those who are kind feel great.

The New York Times best selling author Dan Pink taught me that you must assume everyone good and let them prove you wrong. If they do happen to prove you wrong, stay away from them.

Do one or two kind deeds a day and people will remember for the geuine kind person that you are. I believe kindness has to be a big part of the legacy you leave behind when you die.
