In this episode of Mark Daily Discoveries, I want to share with you the characteristics you must have if you want to become an effective leader.

From interviewing many successful people on the podcast, I have seen common characteristics they share such as being confident, role modelling correct behaviour and they serve first.

You need to be in tune with your employees by understanding their motivations and aspirations. Successful leaders spend 20-30 hours a week training people and investing their time to get the best out of their employees.

People stay with effective leaders because they feel invested and part of the journey. When a leader brings everyone around to working on a common goal, it also brings a vital element of trust.

If you are a leader or an aspiring leader, my advice is to ask yourself are you role modelling the correct behaviour and are you serving first? If you are, then you are in a position to achieve your goals.
