Do you ever have a feeling where you think you don’t belong? On today’s episode of Mark’s Daily Discoveries, I want to share some examples to help you overcome this feeling of isolation.

There have been moments in my life where I felt I did not belong in group, but I have developed skills to help me avoid this and come at it from a different angle.

The first piece of advice I offer to you is to observe the situation from a neutral point of view. Try to see situations from another person’s point of view and challenge your own perceptions.

The second thing is to be careful not to create a self-fulfilling prophecy. When you become more interested in other people and not think so much about yourself, you will become more interesting to others.

The final tip I offer tis that in order to build rapport and build trust in your relationships, you need to be comfortable with yourself first. Find it out and master what works for you.
