There are three pieces of advice I would offer to help you build trust in your relationships. The first tip is to do what you say. Be there on time and deliver what on what you promised.
The second piece of advice is to tell the truth. Don’t sit on things because you don’t want to hurt people’s feelings. People can take it and there won’t be any issues in the future.
The final part is to tell it how it is. If your project is running behind schedule or you made a mistake, lay it out. Don’t sugercoat it and let people know so they can help you.
In successful companies that are voted the best places to work, one of the key components is trust. Trust is the glue that holds all relationships together.
